Lost accounts taught me to read the rules first. Now I build around them.
Today I build tools that quote prop firm rules, date them and calculate them on your own numbers.
Clarity, not certainty.
Who's behind this
My name is Mo. I build MoTradeSystems next to a full-time job, from Germany.
I came to this the way most people do. I bought the courses, I took the funded challenges, and I lost accounts. Not because the entries were bad. Because I risked too much at the wrong moment, and because I hadn't read the rules I'd agreed to. Both are fixable. A better signal fixes neither.
How I work
I write down every hypothesis before I look at the data. The pass criteria are fixed in advance, so I can't fit the story to the result afterwards.
Three questions shape what I build:
What do the rules say?
Prop firm rules, quoted from the firm and dated.
What can this account lose?
Drawdown and consistency limits, calculated on your numbers.
What kind of day am I trading?
The market environment: calm, elevated or stressed.
The decision stays with you.
